LiteSpeed Web Server and LiteSpeed Cache won't directly handle MySQL processes, hence LiteSpeed won't directly improve MySQL query speed itself. However, your database processes will benefit significantly by using LiteSpeed. LiteSpeed uses very little memory, so after you switch to LiteSpeed, your server will have extra memory for your database to use. Also after you enable LSCache for your WordPress site or other popular PHP CMS applications, most requests will be served from LSCache, and backend PHP and MySQL requests will be dramatically minimized. Overall, your server resources will be used less.
Get a trial license, give LiteSpeed a try, and see for yourself. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions during testing.
